
RESULTS ACHIEVED
The design process for VOLTIfy followed a user-centred approach, starting with understanding
the problem through research and user interviews. After identifying the need for clearer, more
humanized battery insights, I defined the core features and mapped out the information
architecture to simplify complex data. Low-fidelity wireframes were created to explore
layout options and data hierarchy, which later evolved into high-fidelity
prototypes focused on readability
and minimalism.
The redesigned VOLTIfy dashboard significantly improved how EV users
understood and interacted with their vehicle’s battery data. Usability test
showed a 75% boost in comprehension, as users could now interpret
battery health through clear narratives rather than raw technical terms.
The AI-generated summaries and visual cues built greater trust and
confidence, transforming data anxiety into informed action.
Users described the interface as “human” and
“reassuring,” highlighting it's success in turning
complex diagnostics into meaningful,
easy-to-follow insights that
encourage better charging and driving habits.
DESIGN PROCESS


The research for VOLTiFY started with analyzing
existing EVdashboards and interviewing EV owners to understand
their pain points.Users found battery data confusing and wanted
clear, actionableinsights instead of raw numbers. A competitive study
confirmed the lack of personalization and guidance in
current systems. These findings shaped VOLTIfy’s goal —
to simplifytechnical data through AI-driven, human-like insights that
build clarity and trust for EV users.
